When I founded YourPanorama over a decade ago, my vision was to create affordable, customised labelled panoramas. Splitting my time between London and Switzerland, I always intended to capture the unique landscapes of both countries.
In London, I focused on cityscapes, labeling key buildings, sightseeing spots, and other points of interest. Meanwhile, in Switzerland, I primarily highlighted the peaks and villages visible from various vantage points.
The mountain panoramas have proven to be quite popular, and I’ve been fortunate to create a number of them, not only in Switzerland but also in France and even as far away as Japan.
The panoramas of London, however, were more challenging to gain traction. Early works, such as the Panorama of the Putney Riverside and the View Near Hammersmith Bridge, attracted some admirers, but those featuring the City or Canary Wharf were less well-received.

For several years, I paused creating London panoramas. The ever-changing skyline, with new skyscrapers constantly rising and views dominated by cranes, made it difficult to create something enduring.
Now, the landscape has evolved. While construction continues, the city’s skyline feels more settled. This newfound stability, along with recent customer interest in labelled cityscapes, has inspired me to revisit London panoramas.

Unlike the Swiss panoramas, which were mostly printed in full color, I believe the London panoramas might work beautifully as sketches, offering a fresh, artistic take on the city’s dynamic skyline.

If you have a view of the city—whether from your home or workplace—you might want to consider getting in touch. Let’s work together to create a personalised, labelled panorama that captures your unique perspective of London.
As a side note, if you’re a fan of London, especially its iconic river, you might enjoy my photo book, London’s Riverside in Photographs, published by Amberley Publishing. It offers a captivating visual journey along the Thames, highlighting the beauty and history of the city’s riverside landmarks. Find it here.
