When you think that the work for a book is done with the ‘Good do Print’, think again. In a way, then the real work begins. We had to make marketing flyers, looking for a sponsor (so happy to have found Swiss Wine Valais for this), get the book Mein Wallis Mon Valais My Valais into the shops, create a press release and make sure our online shops work. Of course, having an editor like Kümmerly+Frey made the whole experience much more enjoyable for me. In many ways, I could just sit back and wait for them to do all the work and occasionally give a bit of feedback. They have been nothing but extremely professional during the whole process.
For many people the year 2020 is a year to forget, for me, of course, it will be unforgettable. My book kept me busy and motivated through the year and hopefully beyond. If there was one negative factor, it was the fact that shops were closed or it was difficult to get physical contact with customers during the pandemic. Hopefully, in 2021 this can be addressed as I have many copies still available.
